We modestly believe that our New Zealand Grass-Fed, Traditionally Churned Butter is as good as it gets.

What’s The Fuss About Grass-Fed?
In recent years, the benefits of grass-fed butter, as opposed to butter from cows fed a predominantly grain fed diet, have become increasingly better recognised.
Our grass-fed cows produce a butter which has a much richer golden hue compared to their grain-fed counterparts. Plus, you’ll notice it has a deeper yellow hue compared to most European ‘equivalents’. This is due to the bounty of fresh pasture our New Zealand dairy cows feast on all year round, instead of eating grain. Lucky them means lucky us.
This deep yellowy pigment comes from the beta-carotene, found naturally in grass, and our cows enjoy a diet that is greater than 96% grass forage with no palm, GMO or growth hormone products. Not only that, they are free to range 365 days a year which helps to reduce stress and promote better animal welfare. We believe that happy cows, eating their natural diet equals a more scrumptious butter.
So, what are some of the key benefits of grass-fed butter beyond a fabulous taste and texture?
By choosing our grass-fed butter, you’ll enjoy a butter which contains Butyrate, a fatty acid that is also produced by bacteria in the intestine and Vitamin K2. It is also a source of Omega-3: 1.01 g/100g*, and Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) 1.02g/100g**
So, as you can see, what our cows eat matters a great deal. We think you’ll really enjoy the difference.
